Postpartum recovery. London & beyond
You are healing, learning and adjusting all at once. Your care should be coordinated the same way.
The Tenth is a clinically led recovery system for the year after birth. Physical, mental and emotional care, delivered by one team, working to one plan.
Schedule your Fifteen minute call with our team. You will leave knowing what you need.
WHY WE EXIST
Birth is an event. Recovery is a process.
The Tenth prioritises you.
What We do
You were discharged within a day and given an appointment six weeks later. That appointment asks whether something is medically wrong. It does not ask whether you are recovering.
In between, most mothers assemble their own care. A lactation consultant found at three in the morning. A physiotherapist recommended by a friend. A therapist with a waiting list. Nobody is coordinating any of it, and nobody is holding the whole picture.
That gap is the reason The Tenth exists. Not to add another practitioner to the list, but to build the system that should have been there.
the Process
1
Fifteen minutes on the phone
You tell us where you are. We ask the questions that matter. No forms to complete first, and no obligation to know what you want.
A recommendation in writing
2
We tell you what we would do and, just as importantly, what you do not need. If the answer is nothing from us, we will say so.
You decide, in your own time
3
Nothing is booked on the call. You will have everything you need to talk it through properly with your partner, and to know it is the right call.
one method, Every mother
Recovery is never one dimensional, so we do not treat it that way. Every pathway delivers the same three things together, sequenced to where you actually are.
One plan. One team. Your context travels with you, so you never have to tell the story twice.
-
The body, properly assessed
Pelvic health, abdominal recovery, bodywork, feeding and sleep. Delivered by practitioners who work only in the postpartum period, not generalists adapting.
-
The load, actively reduced
Nervous system regulation, sleep architecture, and the cognitive weight of running a household on no rest. The parts of recovery that are rarely named and never scheduled.
-
Matrescence, taken seriously
Identity, autonomy, your relationship with your partner. Held by specialists rather than left for you to work through alone at two in the morning.
The people you will meet
matched to your recovery not chosen from a List.
Every specialist is hand selected for their expertise and for the way they care for mothers. We allocate the right practitioner for your plan and keep the same team around you, so the care builds rather than restarts.
The Tenth sits inside London's maternity ecosystem rather than alongside it, working with the professionals already supporting you.

You Are
Every route runs on the same Method, with the same practitioners and the same standard of care. Only the depth and the setting change.
Four ways in:
The Retreat
Round the clock clinical support in the weeks that shape everything after. Your recovery is structured hour by hour, with the baby cared for through the night so that you can actually sleep. The setting gives the programme the space it needs. The care is the point.
WHERE: MANDARIN ORIENTAL HYDE PARK
PRICE: FROM £1,550 PER NIGHT
At home
The same programme, layered into real life. Specialists come to you, on your schedule, working to one coordinated plan rather than six separate opinions. No travel, no waiting rooms, no logistics on top of everything else.
WHERE: AT YOUR HOUSE IN LONDON
PRICE: FROM £1,950
Virtual Pathway
The same practitioners and the same Method, delivered by video. Built for mothers outside London, abroad, or in the weeks where leaving the house is not realistic. Structured sessions, not a subscription to content.
WHERE: ONLINE FROM ANYWHERE
PRICE: FROM £1,450
Method Sessions
One session, with the whole system behind it. Lactation support, pelvic health physiotherapy, postnatal bodywork, reflexology and more, delivered at your door with no programme commitment. Every session carries something for the other two dimensions, so you never leave short. And the fee carries forward as credit if you go on to a full programme, so your first step is never wasted.
WHERE: SINGLE SESSIONS AT HOME
PRICE: FROM £175
Questions
-
Almost certainly not. Recovery does not end at six weeks, and mothers come to us at every point in the first year. The plan changes depending on where you are, but the door does not close.
-
A maternity nurse cares for your baby. We care for you. The two work well together and many of our clients have both. Where a nurse manages nights and newborn care, The Tenth is a clinical recovery plan for the mother: your pelvic health, your feeding, your sleep, your nervous system, your head.
-
Tell us what you have on the call and we will tell you honestly where we would add something and where we would not. We would rather build around your existing support than sell you a duplicate of it.
-
The Retreat and At Home programmes are London based. The Virtual Pathway delivers the same practitioners and the same Method anywhere in the world, and a number of our clients use it from abroad or after relocating.
-
Yes, and we would encourage it. Partner sessions are built into both programmes. A prepared partner measurably changes how recovery goes, so this is a clinical decision rather than a courtesy.
-
Increasingly, yes. Some employers fund maternity support as part of a benefits package. We can provide structured documentation and clear invoicing to make that straightforward. Mention it on the call.
-
Circles is currently focused on supporting you through pregnancy. Once you reach the postpartum period, we offer a range of dedicated programmes and services to support you in motherhood. Our team will speak with you personally toward the end of your third trimester to understand what support might work best for you and create a tailored plan for your postpartum journey.
YOU WERE NOT MEANT TO DO THIS Alone.
Fifteen minutes with our team. Tell us where you are, and we will tell you what your recovery actually needs.
